With the long-term support of the Rural Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinses Institute of Food Science and Technology, Jiangsu University has established an annual conference “Jinshan Food Physical Processing Forum” since 2014. The forum is divided into four series, namely, high-end forum, international forum, youth forum, and enterprise forum, which are held annually. Since the forum was held, it has attracted famous experts, professors, and senior R&D researchers from Chinese universities, research institutes, and enterprises, as well as international experts from the United States, Japan, Canada and Hong Kong (China), focusing on the application of modern physical technologies in the food processing and carrying out academic exchanges. Academicians Beiwei Zhu, Jian Chen, and other excellent domestic experts were invited to give presentations. The leaders of the Chinese Academy of Science, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the rural center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology were invited to attend the forum many times. The forum has been highly concerned by domestic and foreign researchers and industry peers and has played an important role in the field of food physical processing.
