Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory for Food Physical Processing was approved by the Department of Education of Jiangsu Province in 2010 and established by Jiangsu University with a governmental investment of 3 million yuan. The laboratory was completed and passed the acceptance in 2013. According to its characteristics, the original name of Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory for Physical Processing of Agricultural Products was changed to Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory for Physical Processing of Food. The laboratory focuses on the fundamental theoretical research and technical development on the application of modern physical technologies, such as acoustics, optics, magnetism, and mechanics, in biological manufacturing of foodstuffs and processing of agro-products. It is the only provincial key laboratory specializing in the basic theory and technologies of food physical processing.
The key laboratory is open to relevant enterprises, universities, and research institutions. Welcome to cooperate!
