5.Institute of Food Multi-physical-field Processing
Institute of Food Multi-physical-field Processing primarily centers on the investigations of the theoretical research and technique development on the application of magnetic field, pulsed light, radio frequency, laser, supercritical, subcritical, extrusion, and electrothermal steam in food and agro-product manufacturing. Researchers of our institute took the lead to discover the biological window effect of microorganisms under the high-intensity magnetic field and systematically studied the theory of solubility parameters of supercritical extraction of natural ingredients. The published book, Supercritical Extraction of Biological Resources, won the second prize in the category of scientific publications of the 14th East China Science and Technology Press and the second prize of the 5th Anhui Province Book Award.
