On the morning of June 29, Institute of Food Physical Processing held a teachers' symposium.  The symposium was presided over by Haile Ma, president of the Institute. Yuling Wan, Secretary of School of food and biological engineering, Jiang Yu, director of the Party Affairs Office, and all teachers of the Institute attended the symposium.

First of all, Haile Ma introduced the achievements of the institute in the past three years, the existing shortcomings and the future development plan.  He pointed out that Institute achieved excellent results in the assessment at the end of the three-year construction period cannot do without the hard work of every teacher, but the development of the institute still has obvious weaknesses, need to further work on the depth and breadth of scientific research, need to further strengthen the integration with the industry, these are the issues that need to focus on in the future development of the Institute.  How to develop the institute better needs to be pooled. He hoped all the teachers of the Institute can give valuable suggestions for the future development of the Institute.

Subsequently, teachers of the institute actively spoke.  They said that the development of the Institute cannot be achieved without the support and help of the School, and they hope to get more support and help from the School in the application of national key research and development projects, undergraduate and postgraduate workload accounting and other aspects in the future.  And put forward a lot of valuable opinions and suggestions for the research work of the institute and the teaching work of undergraduates and postgraduates.

Youling Wan listened to everyone's opinions and suggestions throughout the whole process. She said that the school has always attached great importance to the development of the institute. After the meeting, she will sort out the suggestions put forward by the teachers in detail and coordinate the relevant departments of the school to actively solve the problems.  The School will continue to support the development of the Institute and care for the growth of the faculty, so that every teacher can make his or her own contribution to the development of the Institute and the school.
